This painting is from a photo I took in Italy a few years ago. I think I might do it again and leave the vase empty. I think the flowers distract you from the door.

It has been an incredible busy week..I sold 3 paintings at the Artisan Show and my supply is getting pretty low so I better get into the studio and get some work done :) The one above sold yesterday.

Painting is like anything else you have to be in the mood and it isn't something you can force, but once you get started usually the creativity starts to flow.

I have a request for some more of my Tuscany scenes so I think I will start one today at the painting group.

this is a painting of a village in Tuscany. I am now working from my photographs as I just couldn't sit long enough and paint on location..perhaps next time :)
