We had a tour of the greenhouses at Butchart Gardens today. What an awesome operation. They plant 30,000 new tulips each spring which are kept for 2 years and then disposed of. The greenhouse full of poinsettas were gorgeous.

They are currently putting up Christmas decorations and will be spectacular throughout the holiday season. They have a few trees in the coffee shop that are decorated with small pots of cyclamens. Very showy!

The greenhouses sound wonderful at the gardens.
I'm sorry you missed you trip and are suffering with a painful wrist. Thank goodness it wasn't your painting hand!
