Today is the first of November and looking out the window you know summer is over. The air is warm but misty. The ocean becomes so still on days like this - not a ripple is seen except the ducks, cormorants and seals bobbing up and down.
Tomorrow is my daughter Carol's birthday and Christine's is Nov. 17th when I am away so I have been baking all morning getting ready for a family party tomorrow afternoon. When I see these beautiful, accomplishd women it is hard to relate to the little babies they once were.
