What a weekend! My 14 year old grandson Robin, the apple of my eye by the way, hasn't been feeling well and lost 8 pounds in a few days. After a checkup he was put in the hospital in Victoria and is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
Robin is such an active boy and was supposed to leave for Ottawa this morning with the soccer club. He has always been very healthy and let's hope he can get used to needles.. NOT his favourite thing.
One never knows what each day is going to bring.. so let's remember... LIVE EACH DAY..
